Daily Huddles: What Not to Do

Daily Huddles: What Not to Do Blog Cover

Hello Chasers,

Over the last couple of ‘What’s Working Wednesdays’, we talked about how to make your daily huddles rock.

Now, let’s chat about what not to do.

Don’t Overdo It

  • Keep it short and sweet: Too many topics can turn a quick huddle into a marathon. Save the big stuff for longer meetings.
  • Avoid huddle overload: If your team members are bouncing between multiple huddles, it’s time to simplify. Try combining teams or having project leaders give updates and let everyone else break into smaller groups.

Focus on the Future, Not the Past

  • Look ahead, not back: Constantly checking up on yesterday’s tasks can feel like micromanagement. Trust your team to get the job done.
  • Keep it simple: Video calls can add extra complexity. Stick to phone calls unless you have a really good reason to use video, like remote or offshore teams.

By following these tips, you’ll create a meeting rhythm that keeps your team focused and productive. Remember, a strong pulse means a strong business!

Contact our Team on 03-55612643 if you have any questions.

Have a great day!
