Are You Really Okay?

Are You Really Okay

Hello Chasers,

I don’t know about you but 2022 seems to be a year of considerable heartache to me.

War, death, illness, tragedy, floods, fire, disease, and cost of living struggles seem to be dominating our lives now.

I guess these events have always been part of life, but they all seem to have converged into this year.

Close family and friends are struggling with some of these as loved ones have either been taken from us too soon or are soon to be.

We also see it portrayed nearly 24/7 on social media and news channels with celebrities passing, being treated for traumatic illnesses, or passing away in the case of Queen Elizabeth II.

The timing of RUOK Day last Thursday could not have been any more appropriate as we get reminded to check in on loved ones who are doing it tough mentally.

Make sure that you send a simple message, text, call or visit if appropriate to let them know that you are thinking of them and are available to simply sit with them to keep them company.

Check-in to have the certainty that they are really okay.

Have a great day!
