Tuesday was another important date in the evolution of mankind as AI (Artificial Intelligence) has taken another step forward.

Google has announced the release of its latest AI service, Bard, in competition with the runaway success of the Microsoft-backed AI platform ChatGPT.

Powered by the Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA), Bard seeks to bring together the world’s knowledge and the power of Google’s large language models.

The main difference that Bard will have is that it draws on information from the internet, whilst ChatGPT only has access to data until 2021, so ChatGPT (whilst the buzzword at the moment) is going to be behind and not up to date and current.
